Rosso Vivo was an astonishing exhibition that took place in Milan back in 1999. The theme: blood and mutation in art. Some days ago I’ve found some images I took on the opening night, with my first Kodak digital camera. The exhibit was organized by the volcanic Francesca Alfano Miglietti (FAM) and showcased artists such as Orlan, Franko B., Aziz+Chcher, Thomas Grunfeld, Andres Serrano and many others.
Art is no longer so extreme and “dirty”, so is fashion. Maybe is time for some blood on the catwalk. Or at least some extreme mutation.
