A few days ago Marni unveiled the FW 2014/15 menswear collection, confirming that they know how to make clothing (of course) and presentations (not so obvious). The venue was their showroom, a former industrial space, a large open area in which they have prepared a series of white cubes, used as screens for the projection of a virtual catwalk (a see video below).
The collection was simply put on hangers, in a separate space where people were free to talk, chat, discuss about the clothes, touch them, take pictures. A very relaxed and cozy atmosphere, miles away from the frenzy of the Fashion Week.
Clever way to let professionals be in touch with clothes and people, the cores of the fashion business.
